Consulting
We have developed Food Safety policies, producers, and training for orchards and operations across the country and can tailor a GlobalGAP, Primus, SQF, BRC, Tesco, ISO 22000 and HACCP program to both match your production and satisfy food safety requirements audit requirements.

Certification
As you know, Food Safety, and Audits to validate programs are not new systems. In fact this industry has been around for many years. Within the food safety certification industry there are many organizations called Certification Bodies, which exist to provide you an inspector who will audit your facility to an audit checklist.
When you hire the Certification Body and the inspector visits your site, completes the audit check list and you pass, then you typically receive a certification. The certification is a document which allows you to sell your fruit to retailers for one year. When twelve months have passed you are audited again and if you pass then again you will receive a certification.
What you may not know is that you can choose or change your Certification Body if you wish.
Some of the main reasons folks come to us and ask for our services are:
- Their existing Certification Body’s service was poor or the inspector had never been in an orchard before
- Costs, each Certification Body charges different rates and for different services
- Certification was lost by the Certification Body or sent late
- Communication with the Certification Body was difficult because they are based in Europe, United Kingdom, or Australia
In an effort to bring down costs, provide better service, and to minimize the audit fatigue we are working with several Certification Bodies to negotiate the lowest price. We are local and we are active in the Tree Fruit Community. As such service is very important to us and we guarantee our auditors are knowledgeable about Fruit and Vegetable Production.
If you require multiple or different certification (i.e. both GlobalGAP and SQF) we can inspect for both audits at the same time, this means one auditor and less costs and time to complete this task.
As many of you know, retailers such as Wal-Mart are requesting growers, not just packinghouses to validate their food safety program.
